TOP Week is the introduction week for all students who start their studies in Tilburg in September. This week is not only organized by 20 people, but they will also receive help from 40 TOP Crew members. As a TOP Crew member you have an important supporting role in the organization of TOP Week. For example, you help with the registration of participants, behind the bar, with the distribution of dinner, the construction and dismantling of all TOP Events and much more!

Shifts

TOP Week 2025 will take place from August 18 to 22 and during TOP Week you will work different shifts as a TOP Crew member and you will get free access to all events outside of your shifts. Before the start of TOP Week, the TOP Crew members will be divided into small groups. This way you will work together with the same people during the week and get to know each other well. If you want to register together with someone and would like to be placed in a group together, you can indicate this when you register!

All crew members get the shift of registration on Monday and help during the cantus on Wednesday. In addition to these shifts, there are several other shifts during the week. Before the start of the week, you will receive a script stating which shifts you are assigned to, with whom and what your tasks will be during that shift.

Advantages

If you are a crew member during TOP Week, you certainly do not do this for nothing. Not only is it interesting to experience the organization of such a large event up close, it also brings nice benefits. As a TOP crew:

  • Do you receive compensation for your work during TOP Week;
  • Are you closely involved in the organization of the introduction week in Tilburg for 4,000 students and do you experience TOP Week from the other side;
  • Do you get to know a lot of new people during various social activities prior to TOP Week, including the other crew members and the TOP Organization;
  • Is a TOP Crew Day organized especially for you;
  • Do you get free food and drinks during your shifts;
  • Do you attend the legendary TOP Cantus;
  • Do you have free access to all events throughout the week;
  • Do you get a TOP crew shirt

Do I get paid as a TOP Crew?

As a TOP Crew you will receive a compensation of 75 euros. In addition, you will also receive credit to spend during TOP Week and food will be provided during your shift.

Can I attend TOP Events if I am not working?

Yes, as a TOP Crew you get free access to all TOP Events, even if you don’t have to work a shift.

Do I get TOP Clothing?

We want TOP Crew to be recognizable, which is why you will receive TOP Crew shirts from us.

Do I have to be available all week?

Preferably you are available the whole week. If there is something, we can discuss what is possible.

Can I register together with a friend?

In the registration form you can indicate whether you want to become TOP Crew together with a friend and with whom.
