Meet the board
TOP Board 2026
TOP Week and TOP Winter Week are organized by the Tilburg Orientation Program Foundation (TOP). The board of TOP consists of 7 enthusiastic students who dedicate a year to organizing an amazing introduction week for new students in Tilburg. In addition, 13 committee members work from March for half a year to support the board in organizing TOP Week.

The TOP Board is a team of 7 enthusiastic students who spend a year organizing 2 introduction weeks. In October, the board starts preparing for TOP Winter Week. The Winter Week takes place at the end of January and is the introduction week for students starting their studies in February. After TOP Winter Week, preparations for TOP Week in August begin. The board is supported by 13 committee members who start in March. The help of the committee members is crucial for organizing an event for over 4.000 students.
A board year at Stichting TOP is the perfect opportunity to experience what it’s like to organize the largest student event in Tilburg alongside 6 fellow board members.

Being the chair of TOP means maintaining relationships with important stakeholders, such as Tilburg University. You represent TOP both internally and externally. In this role, you keep an overview of the organization, lead board meetings, and provide support and guidance to your board members.

Vice Chairwoman & PR Manager

This year, I am responsible for all aspects of TOP Week’s visibility, including managing Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok. I also manage the TOP App, which provides all information throughout TOP Week.

As Logistics Manager, you coordinate the full event operation: planning with suppliers, transport, bar logistics, staffing, and safety certificates. You oversee timelines, monthly planning, on-site setup and breakdown, waste, cleaning, and problem-solving to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely.


Ester Wanrooij
Event Manager

As Event Manager, I coordinate closely with a wide range of partners. This includes working with light and sound professionals, security teams, and other essential suppliers. I also work closely with the local municipality to handle permits and arrange suitable locations. In TOP Week I oversee the practical execution, ensuring everything runs seamlessly and that all partners have everything they need.

Internal Affairs

Within the board, I am primarily responsible for communication with participants, mentors and TOP Crew, as well as internal relations within the university.


Sjuul Walenberg
External Affairs
BSc Personeelwetenschappen
My role as External Affairs mainly consists of managing relationships with all existing partners, as well as establishing new collaborations. In addition, I am responsible for acquiring sponsors and often serve as the first point of contact for external parties.
