TOP Week is the introduction week for all students who start their studies in Tilburg in September. This week is not only organized by 20 committee and board members, but they will get help from 40 TOP Crew members. As TOP Crew member you have an important supporting role in the organization of TOP Week. For example, you will help with the registration of participants, behind the bar, handing out dinner, building up and breaking down all TOP Events and much more!
Shifts
TOP Week 2024 will take place from August 19 to 23, and during TOP Week, as a TOP Crew member, you will work several shifts and get free admission to all events outside of your shifts. Before the start of TOP Week, TOP Crew members will be divided into small groups. This way, you will work a lot with the same people during the week and get to know each other well. If you want to sign up with someone and would like to be placed in a group together, you can indicate this when you sign up!
All crew members get the shift of registration on Monday and help out during the cantus on Wednesday. In addition to these shifts, there are several other shifts during the week. Before the beginning of the week you will receive a script that will tell you which shifts you are assigned to, with whom and what your duties will be during that shift.
Benefits of being a TOP Crew member
There are many benefits to being a crew member during TOP Week. As a TOP Crew member:
- You will receive compensation for your work during TOP Week;
- You will be closely involved in the organization of the introduction week in Tilburg for 4.000 new students and experience TOP Week from a different point of view;
- You will meet a lot of new people during various social activities prior to TOP Week, including the other crew members and the TOP Organization;
- There will be a TOP Crew Day organized especially for you;
- You get free food and drinks during your shifts;
- You will be present at the legendary TOP Cantus;
- You will have free access to all events throughout the week;
- You get a TOP crew shirt;
Crew Information Session
There will be an information session on the evening of June 13th. The exact time and location will be announced soon. During this session, you will receive more information about what TOP Crew entails and what is expected from you if you apply.

Do I get paid as TOP Crew?
As TOP Crew you will receive a compensation of 75 euros. You will also receive credit to spend during TOP Week and food will be provided during your shift.
Can I attend TOP Events when I am not working?
Yes, as TOP Crew you will receive free admission to all TOP Events, even if you do not have to work a shift.
Do I get TOP Clothing?
We want TOP Crew to be recognizable, that’s why you will receive TOP Crew shirts.
Do I have to be available the whole week?
Preferably you are available the whole week. If this is not achievable for you we can discuss what the possiblities are.
Can I sign up together with a friend?
On the registration form, you can indicate if you’d like to join TOP Crew with a friend and provide their name.
